Sony's first APS-C zoom (16-55mm (24-82.5mm full-frame equivalent) with a constant F2.8 aperture is surprisingly compact, but offers performance appropriate to the G-series of lenses). A new optical design offers excellent corner-to-corner resolution and an attractive bokeh effect is available if required.
